Who would have thought that you could travel down to Cancun and still have the opportunity to golf? Fortunately for golf loving travelers it's true. While not overflowing with golf courses there are a handful of professional courses that are a lot of fun within an hour or so from most hotels in Cancun. Cancun has both 9 and 18-hole courses. Some of the golf courses in Cancun are associated with hotels and others stand alone. Most of the golf courses are a little ways away from the downtown area as well as the Hotel Zone so you will likely have to catch a taxi or rent a car to get there. If you don't want to drive yourself then call the golf course ahead of time and see if they will send a bus to pick you up. You will be surprised at how many times they will be happy to do so. |
